The portable Vaultek® LifePod 2.0 VLP20 Safe secures full-size handguns with a built-in lock system and features a removable interior tray for increased storage potential. This travel safe features precision-engineered safe technology and anti-impact latch design. A backlit LED capacitive keypad provides entry of the master code to unlock and quick-press-to-lock action when locking. Rely on the LED interior light to see contents in low light. Proprietary material blend matches lightweight characteristics with superior strength to create a rugged, impact-resistant lock box. Side compression latches combine with an inner rubber gasket to form a watertight seal – battery not required for function. The airtight, dustproof safe also floats. Powered by a 9V alkaline battery (not included), the Vaultek LifePod 2.0 VLP20 has a battery life of up to 1 year under normal use. The front rubber keyhole cover disguises an integrated micro-USB port to power the unit in case of a dead battery. Enable the key-lock feature from the interior to disable the front keyway and prevent the lock from being picked open.
