Beretta
Beretta

Beretta has been owned by the same family for almost five hundred years and is known for its broad range of firearms: side-by-side shotguns, over-and-under shotguns, semi-automatic shotguns, hunting rifles, express rifles, assault rifles, submachine guns, lever- and bolt-action rifles, single- and double-action revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. The parent company, Beretta Holding, also owns Beretta USA, Benelli, Franchi, SAKO, Stoeger, Tikka, Uberti, and the Burris Optics company.

In 1918, the Beretta Model 1918, one of the first submachine guns in the world, was fielded by the Italian army. Beretta manufactured rifles and pistols for the Italian military until the 1943 Armistice between Italy and the Allied forces during World War II. After World War II, Beretta was actively involved in repairing the American M1 Garands given to Italy by the U.S. Beretta modified the M1 into the Beretta BM-59 rifle.After the war, Beretta continued to develop firearms for the Italian Army and police, as well as the civilian market.

The model Beretta 92FS was the primary side arm of the United States Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force from 1985 until 2019; designated the M9 pistol. In 1985, Beretta was chosen after a controversial competition to produce the M9, winning a contract for 500,000 pistols.

In 2004, Brügger & Thomet started to produce its own line of complete weapons, beginning with a revised variant of the 9mm Steyr TMP known as the MP9 submachine gun, and a civilian semi-automatic model called the TP9. Colt
Colt

Colt is one of the world’s leading designers, developers, and manufacturers of firearms. They have supplied civilian, military and law enforcement customers in the U.S. and throughout the world for over 175 years.

Colt is known for the engineering, production, and marketing of firearms, most especially between the 1850s and World War I, when it was a dominating force in its industry and a seminal influence on manufacturing technology. Colt's earliest designs played a major role in the popularization of the revolver and the shift away from earlier single-shot pistols.

The most famous Colt products include the Colt Walker, made in 1847 in the facilities of Eli Whitney Jr., the Colt Single Action Army or Peacemaker, the Colt Python, and the Colt M1911 pistol, which is currently the longest-standing military and law enforcement service handgun in the world and is still used today. Though they did not develop it, for a long time Colt was also primarily responsible for all AR-15 and M16 rifle production, as well as many derivatives of those firearms. The most successful and famous of these are numerous M16 carbines, including the Colt Commando family, and the M4 carbine.

Sig Sauer
Sig Sauer

Sig Sauer has been equipping European militaries since the mid 19th Century. Fast forward to today and they are more relevant than ever as they now play a major role in outfitting the United State's military with their NGSW (Next Generation Squad Weapons). Sig Sauer prides itself upon being innovative and they have done exactly that. The P365 changed the handgun market and has been paving the trail for all other manufacturers to follow. The P365 was special at its release due to its modularity, and capacity (surpassing the competition by 4 rounds per magazine). Since then we have the P365XL providing an even larger capacity count, and the P365X combining the P365 and it's big brother the P365XL giving the operator more concealability with the potential to carry 15 rounds. Sig also has dominated the duty sized handgun space with the P320 and its respected variations. This weapon platform rose to fame again due to the modularity of the weapon, and it doesn't hurt the US military dropped the Beretta after an extended tenure for the P320. The P320 has many variations, but one thing that the civilian market has grown to love are the P320 Legions giving the shooter a threaded barrel on one variation, as well as a Tungsten infused frame on the X5 models. However, Sig's dominance does not stop at handguns. The MCX is a proprietary weapon platform designed to be superior in close quarter combat situations. The MCX is offered in a variety of calibers from 5.56 NATO and 300 Blackout, to even 9mm PCC configurations that have grown in popularity as a competition rifle in recent years. There is no doubt Sig makes a quality firearm, therefore it is evident that the optics Sig Sauer produced are held in the same regard. If you are stumbling finding a brand to get behind, you can always be confident with Sig Sauer. Online Outfitters are proud to carry every model of sig Sauer and maintain a huge selection of Sig guns for sale online.
