Great Lever Fun
I purchased this .357 lever gun after searching for 2 yrs for what I wanted. I would love a new Marlin, but I can't put $1300 into one. I looked over different options such as finish, wood choices, barrel length / capacity, barrel contour, sights, etc. I found this dealer exclusive model and finally pulled the trigger. And I'm glad I did. The fit / finish is great, the stainless and gray wood looks great, the action is great. It needs some breaking in as there's just a hint of a catch if you lower the hammer by hand. Run the lever like you mean it and it loads perfect, and ejects almost straight up. Cleaned it, shot it, and I'm waiting to find more ammo. Two thumbs up! (Shipping came a day early in a cardboard box.)
